A good field hit off on Wednesday despite it not being the best day and it was Peter (Dicko) Dixon that won with a solid 38 points. Dicko also won the NTP on the 3rd and claims it is the first time he has hit the 3rd green in many years. Well done Dicko. Robbie (the Nundle Burglar) was next best with 36 and several other players had 35.
You will recall that over the past month Dan Riley has had some sensational scores including a 49 points, well last Wednesday Dan managed to claim the orange ball, (after a countback with Tiger) for the worst score of the day. What a difference a day or two makes.
The Thursday vet’s made it out onto the course this week, but only a small field. Jack Mitchell was the best on the day with 34 points from Ian Duncan 33 after a countback with Chickie Chappell.
Dennis Davis, a visitor from Nowra won the NTP on the 15th.
Neil Free won the Guzzler’s Mug on Saturday and no doubt will manage to make some good use of it over the next couple of weeks. Freeza had a nett 68 to narrowly defeat Tiger Clutterbuck 69 and the big bird himself, Doug Taggart was third with nett 70.
NTP winners were Vicki Barraclough on both the RAB 3rd and the Bridges Finance 17 and Crewy Cameron won the Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15th.
