I should mention at this time that a couple of weeks back Ross Anderson was looking after the regular Saturday competition and had things just about completed when he realized that two players had not handed their cards in. Ross chastised both these players and made a pretty big deal about it. Well what goes around comes around and yes you guessed it Ross failed to hand in his and his playing partners card on Thursday, So Bullo and Charlie feel free to remind him about it next time you see him.

The club had a visit from Local Member Adam Marshall on Saturday morning and Adam made an announcement to the members there that the club’s two grant applications totaling $250,000.00 had been approved. These grants are for the purpose of drought proofing the course and to refurbish the existing men’s and lady’s toilets and showers as well as install a disabled toilet. These grants from the state government are much appreciated and a special thanks goes out to Tom O’Connor for his gbreat assistance in submitting the applications.

Quote of the week. ”If you always tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.”

Good Golfing
