Darrell’s Weekly Wrap 14th October 2018

A good field hit off in the Wednesday competition and what a difference a week makes as I am sure Dan Riley will agree with. Dan won last week with 38 points but this week finished at the tale of the field with 21, welcome to the world of golf Dan.

The winner was Neil (Splitty) Cullen with 39 from Chalkie Chandler, 38, Crewy and Tiger both had 36. The NTP winners were Bruce McMullen on the third and Tiger on the 11th. Next week the NTP will be on the 15th.

Charlie Murray won the Neil Bullen and Trevor Carson sponsored stableford on Saturday with 37 points but only after a countback was required with Aaron Blanch. John (the Cocky Hater) was next best with 36. The clod windy conditions made for a tough scoring day and a lot of pretty ordinary scores were returned but only one person could claim the mars bar, Mike Petrov with 25.

NTP winners were NAB 6th Aaron Blanch, 9th Tony Duff, 11th K-Mart, Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15th Jon Izzard and bridges Finance 17th Josh Clark.

Next Saturday the local Fire Volunteers will sponsor single stableford and the Twilight competition will start on next week so if you don’t have your team nominated get organized as soon as possible.

Quote of the week:” By the yard life is hard. By the inch, it’s a cinch.”

Good Golfing.
