Our best Wednesday field in a long time turned up last week to enjoy yet another beautiful winters day at Uralla. Peter Richardson won with 39 points from Splitpin Cullen 36, Darrell Carson and ted Redden both 35. Nobody managed to hit the 11th to claim the NTP and Gary Mackaway will play with the orange ball next week.
Before the weather turned bad a good field of players turned out on Thursday for the vet’s stableford. Noelene Porter won the day with 38 points and was a clear winner form Col Berry (Walcha) , 36 points and John (Happy) Holman taking third spot with 34.
NTP winners were Ian Duncan on the 6th and Happy Holman on the 15th. John was just replenishing his ball supply before heading to the warmer parts of the country for the next few months. I think Noelene mast have taken a lesson or two from son Robbie (The Nundle Burglar) to show this sharp improvement in form. Well done Noelene.
There was no golf over the weekend as the weather turned bad and none of the sooks would turn up to play on Saturday. It is a good thing they don’t live in England or even down at the coast if they let a little bit of weather worry them.
