Wednesday Wacker’s last week attracted a better field on a beautiful day but as the big dry continues the course is suffering very badly. Winner on the day was Dan Riley with a fantastic 42 points from the consistent Robbie Porter, 37 and Neil (Splitpin) Cullen 36.
Thursday vets stableford saw Phillip Kelly win with 37 from Ian Duncan, 36 and Tony Johnson 35. Nobody managed to hit the 3rd green to claim the NTP.
Geoff Wood was the sponsor for the Monthly Mug last Saturday and it was a Barraclough battle with Shane, winning the mug and relegating wife Vicki to second spot to claim the use of the mug for the next month or so. I am not sure who would get the best use of the mug, Shane or Vicki but I am sure they would both do it justice. The old bloke Les (I’m in a hurry) Forde was next best with 70 (breaking his age again) Coleen Taggart, Mary Dufty and Lil Faulkner also all had a nett 70, well done girls.
NTP winners were; RAB 6th Crewy Cameron, 9th Darrell Carson, Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15th Robbie Porter and the Bridges Finance 17th was Mike Petrov and everybody within a 20 klm radius knows he got the birdie.
