Carol’s Weekly Wrap 23/2/25
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Sam Smith with 41pts r/up was Greg LeMessurier with 36pts on a c/b from Kiran Walters. The encouragement award went to Tim St Clair.
Thunderbolt Thirsty Thursday Medley played a single stableford and the winner with 42pts was Tony Park, r/up was Neil Haynes with 31pts, (Welcome back Neil). The encouragement award went to Rhonda McIlveen.
Saturday was the Hahn Superdry Monthly Mug and the winner with 66nett was Johnno Rogers, r/up with 69nett was Dom Bower. The Mars Bar went to Kim Burraston.
Next weekends golf event will be held on Sunday due to the Charity Day on Saturday.
Our Championships are coming up soon, (March 8th, 9th and 15th, 16th) so put your names down so Jon can get organised.
Next Saturday is The Poss Family Fun Day to be held at the Golf Club, this is an annual event for Can Assist Uralla. There will be a 2-person ambrose teeing off at 11.30, please be at the club by 11am for registration. The main events start at 2pm with face painting, treasure hunt, dunking machine etc. Cost is $20per adult, children free, Mr T will also be playing to entertain you, the giant raffle/monster auction will also be on, see you all then.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
AS WE ARE HAVING MORE PLAYERS AND SOCIAL PLAYERS ON OUR COURSE. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE A SAND BUCKET WITH YOU AND FILL IN ANY DIVOTS ON THE FAIWAYS AND FIX PLUG MARKS ON THE GREENS. ALSO IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL PLAYER, PLEASE PLAY OFF THE BLUE MARKERS.
The Kitchen is now open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
