Carol’s Weekly Wrap 16/3/25
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Tony Duff with 38pts r/up was Geoff Wood with 34pts. The encouragement award went to Greg LeMessurier.
Thunderbolt’s Thursday Medley was a single stableford and the winner with 33 Points was Warwick Yeomans, r/up was Maj Chappell with 32pts on a c/b from Neil Haynes. The Encouragement award went to Russell Evans.
Our Championships were held over Saturday and Sunday and the 54 hole Champions are as follows:
A-Grade Champion was Anthony (Shaggs) Connors
B-Grade Champion was Gerry Davis
C-Grade Champion was Darrell Carson
A-Grade Vets Champion was Trevor Carson
B-Grade Vets Champion was Gerry Davis

A-Grade Nett Winner was Ben Jones
B-Grade Nett Winner was Scott Matthews

Twilight golf is coming to an end soon, our last day will be next Friday the 29th of March. (Gee hasn’t that gone quick)? Our BBQ night will be held on Friday 11th April, please let us know by putting your names down on the sheet if you will be attending for catering purposes.
Today the ladies played their 1st round of pennants for 2025 at Uralla and the points are Uralla 4.5, Guyra 3.5, Armidale 1.5 and Walcha .5. This is the 1st Pennants Team Uralla have put together since our beloved Bronnie Wilson did it. Glad to be back on board with some of our new lady members. Next round will be in Guyra, date to be advised.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
AS WE ARE HAVING MORE PLAYERS AND SOCIAL PLAYERS ON OUR COURSE. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE A SAND BUCKET WITH YOU AND FILL IN ANY DIVOTS ON THE FAIWAYS AND FIX PLUG MARKS ON THE GREENS. ALSO IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL PLAYER, PLEASE PLAY OFF THE BLUE MARKERS.
The Kitchen is now open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
