Carol’s Weekly Wrap 11/8/24
Wednesday Whackers was washed out.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner 32pts was Tony Park, r/up on a 3-way c/b was Jerry Davis from Rhonda McIlveen and Mick McIlveen. The encouragement award went to Margaret Macready.
Saturday was a single stableford sponsored by Tony Duff and the winner with 38pts was Dactyl Carlon, r/up with 37pts on a c/b was Craig Zirkler from Tony Duff. The Mars Bar Award went to Jerry Davis.
Sunday was the Ladies Keno Qualifier, and the winners were Marj Chappell and Margaret Macready with 73, r/up were Vicki Barraclough and Coleen Taggart with 73.5. Good luck in the next round at Armidale.
Our 4BBB Championships will be held on Saturday 17th August and Saturday 24th August. This event is a Men’s and Ladies separate comp, so you will need to organise your partner for this event.
The Keno Mixed Qualifier will be held on Sunday 25th August.
The second round of Match Play are now due to be played by 1st August, but Jon has extended it due to the condition of the course until 24th August.

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon.
