Carol’s Weekly Wrap 21/7/24
Very short and sweet this week due to no golf Wednesday or Thursday as the weather prevented us from playing.
Saturday was a single stableford and 19 brave players took to the course on such a miserable day. The winner with 35pts was Tony Duff, r/up with 33pts was Barry “Crewy” Cameron. The Mars Bar Award went to Nichols Matthews.
The Keno Mixed Qualifier has been postponed until another day, stay tuned for more details.
The second round of Match Play are now due to be played by 1st August, but Jon has extended it due to the condition of the course until 24th August.
AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
